Let's do something fun!

I was visiting dooce today, She is a very popular blogger who is doing this giveaway of three wii & wii fits, so who wouldn't want something like that, right?!

Anyway, you're supposed to leave a comment on that post, and her mom will choose three lucky numbers. I was looking at the number of comments, and it has gone out of control! there's more than twenty thousand comments! TWENTY THOUSAND!  that's one two and FOUR zeros! that is absolutely out of control!!! She's closing the comments on Wednesday at 5 pm, so I thought about doing a giveaway in MY blog too, I would like to see who can predict how many comments she will get on that one post before closing them on Wednesday.

The person who gets closest to the actual number of comments without going over (yes, just like in The Price is Right!) get's a yet-to-be-determined price from me! I promise it will be beautiful and it will be something made by me, I will also ship it to you, just because I can and I think it'll be fun.

So! who wants to play along?

I say she will get 48,562 comments, that's my bid, Bob.

Updated Tuesday @10 pm, I just checked the dooce comment status, we're at comment number 26,052

so we only have less than 24 hrs. until comments close! anyone else wanna play? come on down!! remember there's a super cool prize involved!

Ok seriously? I cannot even get 20 comments on my blog - ever. Even if you combined all of the comments that I got in a month...well MAYBE it would equal 20.

Well if I'd have to guess (she has what, a day and a half left before she announces a winner?) I'd say that she'll have 37,212.

Yeah, I left a comment one time on her blog, but I figured it was more likely just for other commenters to read because if she read each and every comment on her blog she'd never have time to actually blog.
Geesh, I get excited when I look down the page and see that I have at least one comment at each post. I call that a success!
So, anyway, I am going to guess she'll have 36,024. I'm glad I went back up to read this post because I thought you were asking to guess how many people will leave comments on your blog, lol.
