new banner!

some days there's not a lot to say, but I wanted to share how much I love my new banner, it cheers me up!

Undaunted: yes, this is an image from an assembly box I did. Here are some pictures of it.

I finished it just last week, it's inspired on the Lazarus story which I was reading the other day.

It is painted on a thick plastic sheet with acrylics, colored pencils and india ink. It is all stapled together and mounted on a cigar box with a glue gun :) I later added a few paper people walking off the drawing.

That little "4" in the upper right corner is a plastic thing I found in the parking lot of the grocery store the other day. I found several of them with different numbers and I have absolutely no idea what they are used for. Of course I picked up as many as I could find! (about 6) and can't wait to see where to use them.

Felicidades on the beautiful show at Cafe Mia.
Love the banner and it reminded me that it is time to make a new banner for myself, although it might have to wait till next week.
And now, saying reminder, reminded me that I need to drop something in the mail to you, that I've been meaning to do for weeks if not months.

I meant to say something about your banner sooner. It is really cool. Also thanks for the explanation. Your art matches that story perfectly. I will respond to your email soon. Just need some time to put some thoughts together.....
