worldwide video debut!
Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 10:47AM My new computer came with a software to make movies. I thought I'd give it a try and make a little video with all the pictures I took from the KICK-ASS PHOTOSHOOT I did for this week's Found Art Tuesday {day}, so my dear five readers, here's my first ever video (Maybe also the last one) I would love feedback, please! The music I used is what gave me the idea for the theme of "day"

Today is such a lovely day, it is sunny and warm, and I can't wait to get out there. I plan to go to the art store today to load up on supplies to make some more original art for my upcoming art fair. (Thanks Kathy for the comments!) Last night I had an idea to make more original art in a not so consuming way (read: smaller and not that expensive). My only problem is that it may be too "crafty" not that crafty is bad, but I worry sometimes that the art I do is not too good, and maybe a little "amateurish" (don't tell the panel of judges from the art show, they may change their mind about inviting me!!) I TAKE IT BACK! I Love what I do, I feel the happiest when I am painting or drawing! I would like to make the art I do more refined, more thought out, more original and interesting. I'll let you know how these new projects turn out
Got my coffee, got my blogging done, so I'm getting ut in the sun, see you later!, and thanks for visiting!

Whatever you create will be wonderful. I found that my smaller pieces, which I priced in the 30-60 dollar range (framed), tend to sell. I bet if you make a few of your beautiful journals, they might sell too...be sure to use one as well, like leave it out for people to sign their name and email address etc...for future shows (you know for art correspondence) Then be sure to have the bigger pieces their...some original, some prints. IT will be fun and a good experience. I just got invited to another art fair which I am turning down. I guess it is just me but I don't like giving up my days to sit in a booth. I wish you the best of everthing! And don't worry about it being to crafty. Again, my experience is that in general, most people who attend art shows/fairs, are not that educated in what art is...They shop by their mood or the need to decorate, not by the quality. JMHO
