New Show!

I'm sending the invitation to the opening today. If you're in the Charlotte area, please come say hi! July 15, 3 pm. Free gelatto and coffee, if you don't come for the art come for the free yummy stuff.
Since I have such a hard time using Photoshop, and you may laugh at me and my Jack Sparrow Photoshop, with the eye patch and the parrot on the shoulder (version pirata pa que me entiendan) I used Corel Draw to place all the images and text together. (I scanned the cafe mia logo from one of the menus)
After it was all put together, I then converted it to a PDF file, and then from Adobe I converted it to JPEG. I know there must be a thousand ways to make this image in a more efficient way, but hey, I did it myself! The guys at kinkos wanted me to pay 75 dlls. an hour to just put all the images together in a JPEG file. (That's 75 FULL DOLLARS FOR ONE HOUR!) so I guess it turned out ok. And I like how it looks! I love designing flyers and stuff like that. There's a part of me who's always wanted to be a graphic designer. But no.. I had to go to architecture school cause those T-square rulers and hard hats looked way cooler. I have not worn a hard hat since I left my construction lab classes in 1997. Sometimes you never how your life will turn out.
