Found Art Topic May 15 2007: LOST
Friday, May 11, 2007 at 02:48PM Not Lost the TV Show, although I must admit I am addicted to it. (I still can't believe what happened to Locke!! )
I thought about this topic while leaving the piece of Found Art for this week on a park bench, I felt that as I was leaving it, it was necessary for me to "lose it" so that somebody could "find it".
I've been loosing art pieces once a week for several months, I guess that makes me a "looser" doesn't it? :) A happy looser though...
Lost loves, lost beliefs, lost civilizations, lost time, lost in translation... Is there something in your life you have lost and still think about? Maybe a cat? Is there someone you have lost? What would you tell that someone? Maybe this week I'll write a letter to someone I've lost... maybe a more naive and younger self, maybe a friend I haven't seen in ages, a lost postcard that didn't make it to the mailbox on time, and is now lost.
