Random art attack!

If by chance you live in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina, you might've found this in your doorstep this morning. If not you can read the story here and see some pictures (including two really big cheeks and two eyebrows in desperate need of some attention)

It's an interview made to me by a writer I admire. Renee Roberson is a freelance writer to a couple  publications online as well as to the Charlotte Observer. We met one cold January morning to drink coffee and talk about kids, art, graduate school, the city of Charlotte, and also Found Art Tuesday. I enjoyed talking to her, this project helped me make a new friend. This morning the article was published! I think she made a great job at getting the essence of what this project is... "to sow creativity by giving away works " there were some pictures taken in February by a professional photographer, and that was also really exciting! Gayle was really nice! I took some pictures too, the project was "Love"

DSC02179.JPG(That's Ben's little hand saying Hi!) It was so much fun to be part of this! I've met so many people (in and out of the internet) that I am grateful for. Thanks everyone for your support and participation!!!

I DO live in Lake Norman, NC (Cornelius) and read the article you were featured in this morning! Congratulations, your work is lovely--and I obviously need to look around more carefully when I'm at Birkdale from now on : - ) I'm off to read more about found art and your project!

Great article! I love your found art pieces...and I particularly love that you didn't let being in a new community stymie you...that you jumped right in and made your new home PERSONAL for your art...and by sharing it, expanding others' horizons in the process. Kudos!

Bravissimo!!!

What a fantastic article about you, your "Found Art" project and increasing creative awareness by opening eyes, hearts & minds with your thought provoking pieces. It takes real courage to release pieces of you into this world. I am so glad that I "found" you through my sister's Mary Ann's guest hostess spot at Melba's Create A Connection project http://www.bealivebelievebeyou.com/create/2007/03/show_n_tell_tim.html You truly are planting seeds "to sow creativity by giving away works. " Thank you for your gift...inspiring me to find those seeds in me...quenching my thirst...nurturing my inner soul... to create & to share beauty again... Thank you...xoxo jo
