Love, love, love....

Happy Valentine's day! or as we call it in the other side of the river... Happy day of love and friendship. Yes, Friendship! it is a kind of love, one that can be as deep as romantic love. For those of you who don't believe in celebrating this holiday simply because you find it too commercial, I might agree with you, if it was not for all the heart shaped chocolate and the flowers. I can't say no to flowers and chocolate, not ever....

I am secretly so grateful for the friends I've made through this website, specially to the ones who believe in this Found Art project. Your comments and participation have been sewing the wings it needs to take flight. When I started back in October it's tiny wings were held together by elmer's glue and could fall any second, but slowly they have been sewn in with thick sturdy thread. I specially love the fact that we are creating ripples of kindness out there. I guess we'll never know if we're making a difference to someone who finds the pieces, but surely it has made a difference to me being in this journey and with such great company!

Thank you Rosa for "advertizing our work. I just think this is such a worthy project. I now find myself making ATCs to set aside for the found art work... I just make them as I am working on something else. It has been fun and I always look forward to each week!
