Connecting through ceramic mugs of coffee

mug swap.jpgIt's here, it's here!! omigosh! and it's beautiful! and so thoughtful!

I participated in my first-ever swap in the wonderful Create a Connection website! A meeting place for Creative bloggers to keep each other motivated, exchanging energy and good vibes, hosted by Melba

Yesterday I got this little brown box and I was so excited to open it! I could smell coffee right after opening it so I was all smiles and couldn't wait to see what was inside!

The very thoughtful liz elayne sent me this wonderful blue mug, this extraordinary coffee (that I am drinking right now) so aromatic and delicious, and some tea too!! I loved this package and the idea that was put together just for me! I appreciate it so much more! Liz also sent a note where she talks on how good it's been for her to sit down with a cup of tea and list the things she's grateful for, so she encourages me to do the same. The first thing in my list will be: I'm grateful for the new friends I've met in this sometimes-good, sometimes-evil place called internet. I love the people I've met, so encouraging, so warm, always happy to give me support when it's been needed.

The best thing of this swap was that I got to know two people that I would've never had met otherwise. One in Washington State, another in Illinois (Tanaya), and me in North Carolina.

Isn't the internet a wonderful tool?

Next month there will be a fresh new swap hosted this time by Tanaya (I'm in!!!) Good luck for her and I hope you can participate too!
