You Only Die Once

This image was supposed to end up as found art for Halloween, but I have to admit, I cheated. After finishing it I thought it would be interesting to do the traditional "Altar de Muertos", so I used a cigar box I had and was dying to use, I just hadn't found the right project for it.

I also used a Rosary, an old document, basswood and red yarn. I took some tips from this book by Claudine Hellmuth, and it was really fun.

Now I have to decide if I'll leave it as Found Art or keep it?

I am so shamed that I haven't participated in the Found Art Tuesdays yet. I have just been so busy. I feel like I did when I was still in school and working full time and trying to keep up with a youthful social life as well, meaning: I'm never home. I need to just say ENOUGH! and tell people I can't do everything they want me to do.
I just wanted to say this piece is great! And then also give you this (found art-like) link that really inspired me. I loved To Kill A Mockingbird as a kid (still do) but I love how this artist was inspired to leave her work out for others to find, I might have to try something similar.
